Regular Warranty
GB Labs warrants to the direct customer that its product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery of the product.
Once a fault has been verified GB Labs shall service all products as follows:
'Hot Swap' Powersupply units and hard disk drives which are under advance replacement. GB Labs shall ship these units to the customer at their expense and the faulty parts will be retuned to GB Labs at the customers expense. GB Labs shall, at its option and expense, repair or replace the defective products. Replacement, if required, shall be with new, comparable, or reconditioned products. Customer shall ship defective products freight prepaid to GB Labs. GB Labs shall ship the repaired/replacement products freight prepaid to the customer. If the customer has a pending delivery, the repaired/replacement products shall be shipped together with the customer’s other order. Otherwise, it will be shipped separately. Both parties agree to use the same means of shipping.
Defective products or parts, if replaced, automatically become the property of GB Labs.
All products repaired or replaced under warranty shall carry a warranty equal to the period of time remaining on the warranty based on the original delivery date.

Out of Warranty
“Out of Warranty” refers to those products that are no longer covered by the “Regular Warranty:”
GB Labs will repair or replace the defective products; provided, however, that any such repair or replacement is contingent upon the availability of the required components. The customer shall pay the two-way shipping, packing, insurance, and other costs, including necessary labor and parts.
Customer shall ship defective products freight prepaid to GB Labs. GB Labs shall ship repaired products freight collect to the customer. If the customer has a pending delivery, the repaired products shall be shipped together with the customer’s order. Otherwise, it will be shipped separately.
All out-of-warranty products serviced for a fee will have ninety (90) days of extended warranty. The ninety (90) day warranty shall begin on the date the repaired product ships from GB Labs.

Non-Warranty
GB Labs reserves the right to inspect products returned from its customers in order to determine the cause of the problem. GB Labs shall return defective products that could not be repaired at no-charge, except for shipping costs. This warranty does not cover product problems related to the following:
Products damaged during shipping due to insufficient or improper packaging.
Damage caused by force majeure (such as fire, flood, etc.).
Damage caused by normal wear of parts, scratches, surface rust or deterioration, improper use, improper storage, improper testing, negligent use of improper voltage or current, accidental damage, abnormal or unusual use, use of unauthorized accessories or modules, use contrary to the operating instructions, or lack of regular maintenance.
Product repaired, dismantled, or altered by unauthorized technical personnel.
Damage caused by computer viruses.
Removed warranty seals or serial number stickers which void our warranty.

Optional Extended Warranty
In addition to the one-year Regular Warranty, GB Labs offers an Optional Extended Warranty that extends the warranty period for the product an additional two years. Customers may elect to purchase the Optional Extended Warranty at the time of sale or within the regular warranty period. For more detailed information, please contact your local representatives. Local authorized Representatives are entitled offer their own individualized software support options such as remote support and/or telephone support and on-site engineer cover.

Data Exclusion
Any loss, corruption or destruction of data while using a GB Labs product is the sole responsibility of the user, and under no circumstances will GB Labs be held liable for the recovery or restoration of this data. To help prevent the loss of your data, GB Labs highly recommends that you keep TWO copies of your data. If you would like more information on backup, please contact GB Labs.
GB LABS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DOWNTIME, GOODWILL, DAMAGE TO OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, AND ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH GB LABS PRODUCTS EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Customer warning:
Please be sure to back up your data before returning your drive to GB Labs for repair. GB Labs cannot under any circumstances guarantee the integrity of data remaining on a returned drive. We make no provisions for data recovery and cannot be held liable for any data loss on drives or media returned GB Labs.
